The 2009/2010 Sustainable Initiatives Fund Trust Annual Report is now available. You can read more about how SIFT is strategically focussing on funding more loans and equity investments in order to recycle the funds that it has due to losing the waste levies previously received from the Christchurch City Council a few years ago. The Board and management team continue in their optimism and support for new local sustainable initiatives that focus on waste reduction.
The report highlights the recent changes made to the Application process for better decision making around project funding, a more user friendly website and an increased emphasis on the use of social marketing to spread the awareness of who we are and what we do.
Key projects funded in the 2009/2010 year are also summarised and these include SIFT’s involvement with Comspec, Sandihurst Winery and updates on the Terra Lana Products and Agpac Ltd projects.
